Engraved SignsI have a friend who makes
Engraved Signs for a living. He makes all sorts of
Engraved Signs, from house names and numbers to
Engraved Signs for historic properties and stately homes and he seems to be very much in demand for his products at the moment. He has always been keen on the artistic field and was really good at art at school. He really wanted to go on to university to do fine art but, at the last minute, he thought he was not good enough and backed out. We were all very surprised but then pleased for him when he got a job with the company he works for now making
Engraved Signs and he has worked his way up through the business. Thankfully, he has a very good position there now and has really done well for himself. He is able to afford a really nice house in the suburbs and at least two holidays a year so he is obviously a success. I often wonder though if he harbours any regrets about not pursuing the dream of being an artist as I know that this was his first love. However, I guess that if he felt he was not good enough back then, he would constantly be feeling insecure if he pursued that dream.
